The remanufacturing process

Whether it be a printer, a copier or a toner cartridge, the process of remanufacturing is executed flawlessly, by the book. Production comprises of a series of phases and their related procedures are overseen by qualified specialists for quality assurance. At the initial stage of product development, a set of objective metrics is elaborated from the results of tests carried out on the original product throughout its life cycle. The resulting parameters - related to life duration and product quality - will determine which parts and materials will be replaced, such as toner powder, drum units, spare parts and so on, that will then be tested accordingly. Both the original and replacement products are tested in temperature- and humidity-controlled environments, as well as to extreme environmental conditions.
